Newcastle Law Academy ❨West❩

Newcastle Law Academy West is justifiably renowned for its unique undergraduate programmes in collaboration with the UK universities and excellence for its tuition support and a recognized teaching centre of the University of London in Bangladesh.

The University of London is a federal research university located in London with around 48,000 distance learning external students and 178,735 campus-based internal students, making it the largest university by number of students in the United Kingdom. The university established by the charters of 1836 and 1837 was essentially an examining board with the right to award degrees in arts, laws and medicine. Twelve universities in England, several in Canada and many in other Commonwealth countries (notably in East Africa) began life as associate colleges of the university offering such degrees. By the 1970s, almost all of these colleges had achieved independence from the University of London.

Founded by the founding Principal of Newcastle Law Academy, Barrister M A Zafer & Newcastle Law Academy has produced the most number of Barristers in Bangladesh till this date.

Noted that Barrister Khan Khalid Adnan who was the first ever FIRST class holder of the Bachelor of Law (Honours) under the University of London in Bangladesh, is holding the position of Vice Principal for this academy and the Principal is Md. Reaz Uddin who is the expert lawyer of Supreme Court.
